How to Play TileMan.io
TileMan.io gameplay is quite straightforward, but mastering the strategy is not as easy. Positioned at the center of a grid board, your objective is to expand your territory by claiming more tiles. To achieve this, move using your mousepad or the WASD keys in the directions of left, right, up, and down. Sounds simple enough? However, the challenge lies in expanding your territory without being cut off by other players in the game. You risk getting cut off if your path is intercepted. Be cautious, as you could inadvertently cut off your own path and lose by self-infliction. While staying within your territory offers protection, an overly defensive strategy may hinder your expansion progress.
Territory is deemed "claimed" once you convert blocks by forming a complete square – the enclosed blocks change to your color upon closure. If you expand too swiftly, you might find yourself far from safety and vulnerable to being eliminated by an opponent.
Avoid encounters with opponents or strategically trap them within your squares to induce collisions. Exercise caution, and refrain from overly aggressive tactics! Can you emerge victorious in the TileMan arena?

No Kills
This mode closely mirrors the classic game, however, players evade being eliminated by opponents intersecting their paths. Instead, losing your path grants a brief window to return to safe territory. Stray too far, and failure is imminent.
Rats
Expect adversaries around every corner in this mode. Keep your captures close to home base.
Arena
The Arena mode serves as a simulated "practice space" with no opponents present, offering around 1500 squares for capture. While it may appear simple, overconfidence can lead to fatal errors.
